This lovely rim soup bowl reflects the early Swedish love of Chinese blue and white porcelain. Beautiful display piece.
Rorstrand Established 1726 Sweden. Based on the mark style and using the McKinley Tariff Act as a guide, we feel this rim soup bowl may have been
produced pre-1891.
Mark. Shown. Bla Giyt ? pattern name is best left to one with better Swedish language translation skills than ours.
Material. Faience. A very light soft paste pottery.
Condition. Please see pictures. Very good antique. Even under glaze crazing throughout. Three clean stilt marks on the shoulder. Minor light loss of enamel
to outside rim. Few pin dot size losses on the back of rim. Exhibits minimal signs of use.
Dimensions. 9 Inches. Rim Soup. Deep shoulder and very shallow well.
