Victorian era beauty. Beautiful and difficult to find addition for the collector of true antique
English relief molded jugs. This Tiverton jug by William Brownfield, has a rare lilac ground with white
relief and trim. Bring a lovely Victorian home for the holidays.
Mark. Registry triangle mark on the base. Registry mark is difficult to read, but the pattern name
Tiverton-24-Cobridge-WB can be made out within the impressed circle surrounding the triangle patent
mark. The # 8 has been incised outside the circle.
Condition. See pictures. Fine antique condition. Clean. Holes for lid, but no sign of one ever used.
Tiny "shallow color surface only" firing lines from the actual manufacturer mainly on one side of the
handle, left side facing and a bit noted under the collar area. Pin head loss noted on the inside of the
base. Noted for accuracy, not an issue.
