Two white stoneware bottles presumed for beer or ginger beer are rustically handsome. Excellent collectible display and also great to use as bud vases.

Time Line. Late 19th to early 20th century.
Measurements. Smaller bottle 8.5 inches tall x 2 3/4 inches base. Larger bottle 9 inches tall x 3 inches base.
Materials. Stoneware - Ironstone. Mouth of the bottles appears to be designed for a lightning stopper also known as "swing stopper" or "swivel stopper".
Condition. Fine old or antique condition. Patina of age and type. Clean with shiny white glaze. Some rust stains notably on the smaller of the two bottles. Typical potting irregularities. The taller bottle does not sit perfectly flat. No chips or cracks.
Mark. None.
