Considering the age of this book, I would have to judge it in good condition. It is hardcover, 248 pages and is the 25th printing dated June 1947. The original copyright was 1940 by the John C. Winston Company, illustrated by Marguerite Kirmse. The binding is in good shape with a little break at the very top edge; there is a stain of some kind on the bottom of the pages, you can see it in the picture.
