"Way-back-when" these hung in just about every kitchen in America! This one has gold trim, pretty much intact, around the scroll edge. There is a picture of an old fireplace with a blazing fire and an iron pot hanging over the blaze; vintage utensils hanging on the wall and fire tools sitting on the hearth. There are a couple of letters in the verse with a missing "leg" but you can very much tell what it is supposed to be. Verse reads as follows:

If you have a collection of these you know it is rare to find one this old! On the top of the plate it reads "Cherished Moments Last Forever" and on the bottom, "Mother's Day 1981".
