Although not marked, this is probably a made-in-Japan figurine. It is 5 1/8" high and has gold trim around the base. The "lace" on her dress and hat appear to be fired-on. There is a tiny porcelain rose near her waist and possibly one missing on the bottom of her skirt. As far as I can tell, all the "folds" of the lace are intact. Unusual lady. These have such a true-to-life expression on their faces! They almost look as if they are smiling. Creamy white porcelain, with dark tan markings. Measure approximately 4" x 2 1/2".
