These old cookie cutters are made of old flat sheet iron or tin with a backing. The design is soldered onto the back and there is an air hole, indicating a very early age. One is a standing dog, a sitting cat and a little man wearing a hat (there is separation on one side of him). They have some darkening and a bit of oxidation...easily restored with fine steel wool. I was told these are probably Pennsylvania Dutch handcrafted cutters that were made by the Moravian community in PA. ...click for details

These were purchased from an estate and I feel they are very old...I just do not know how old. They are 5 7/8" in length, have GEORGIA on the front with the state flower, the cherokee rose, the seal of the state of Georgia, an eagle and shield with 13 stars. The back of the spoon is also embossed with a flag, laurel wreaths and reads ONIEDA COMMUNITY A 1 X. These are tarnished and I did not attempt to polish.

I have one of these which was purchased a LONG time ago and they cook the best poached eggs! Just spray the egg insert with Pam, add a little water to the pan and simmer until proper "doneness". There are 6 holes in the insert which allows the steam to cook and keep the egg moist. Much better than one cooked in ye' olde microwave! Pan is approximately 4" in diameter and has a few tiny dings. Lid has black wooden knob. ...click for details

Older, unidentified pattern from Oneida marked ONEIDA 18/8 STAINLESS on bottom. There is also a round silver label reading Crafted in Japan. This set is a dainty size...creamer is 2 3/4"H x 4"(including handle) and sugar with lid is 4" x 3"(at bottom). In great shape! Picture has glare giving the pieces a yellowed appearance.
