Older set of butterfly dishes, probably from the '40's or '50's, made in Japan. They have oval-shaped silver paper stickers on the back of each but all the printing has worn off. There is also a gold printed number on each one. These are in perfect condition...not the first nick and the gold is wonderful! They measure approximately 6", 5" and 4 1/2". Cute matched set with garden scene. Wooden box has hinged lid and is an ample size...almost 7" across, 4 3/4" high and 4 1/4" deep(front to back). Includes a set on A-Z index cards, sized to fit the box and wooden utensils. This set would also be nice for a gardener to store plant or planting information and a set of small gardening tools! This set of transfers has the original price of 19 cents on the envelope!
There are supposed to be 8 vegetable designs but there are only seven. They have been cut apart but appear to be unused. Includes 7 vegetable motifs, border or edging for tea towels, pot holder pattern and instructions. Envelope has some wear but intact. Shipping included in US.

This is the very first annual egg in the Goebel collector series which began in 1978! It is in excellent condition, nice high gloss glaze with baby chick (which is finished in a matte glaze) and 1978 in relief. Hand painted, displayed on a gold-toned tripod round base which has little "feet". The bottom of the egg has the numbers 62-700-07, the Goebel name, W. Germany and Bee mark printed in blue. Now this is a conversation piece! Marked Inland XXX Handblown, 12 Cup, Patent No.DES 160,186. In researching this piece, I learned Inland Glass Works was a division of Club Aluminum. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks; there is some wear on the platinum neck. I really don't see any wear on the platinum band around the center. Very retro!
