Scenes on this purse remind me of a Norman Rockwell painting...market scenes from the early 1900's. The decoupage is in good condition with no cracks. There is a small place right over the latch where it looks as if the decoupage coating is missing. The purse has a brown lucite handle and a brown, quilted lining. A precious set of vintage candle holders and they still have what appears to be (what is left) of the original candles. As you can see, some are in bad shape! These tiny holders stand less than 1" without the candle, 4" with. They are embossed on the bottom "Fancy Design, Germany". Made from high fired porcelain, they are gloss glazed with fired-on decals of different flowers. All in very good condition with no chips. An unusual framed piece containing a 1969 Kennedy half dollar and a 1974 Lincoln copper penny. Entitled "True But Strange", it lists uncanny facts between Lincoln and Kennedy. Unusual kitchen prints dated 1975. One has a picture of a jar of Strawberry Jam with the recipe, the other one is a jar of Pear Relish and the recipe. They have borders of fruits and vegetables, a border of avocado green and the frames are a darker green.
