I purchased these from a friend who was having a "cleaning out". They were made by her Grandmother many years ago and are the daintiest little things you've ever seen! They appear to be "tatted" around curtain rings because there is a hard object in the middle. Size is approximately 2 1/4" x 2". So precious!Price includes shipping in Continental US.

Sew cute! Probably from the '50's, this sewing box is 8" in diameter and 4 1/2" high. It has two separate compartments; the lower box has posts for 16 spools, the upper, smaller box is plain inside. The top lid has a pin cushion in the middle. It is so old, some of the small, decorative thread on the cushion has rotted but the cushion appears to be intact. I left the old needles stuck in it. This set of transfers has the original price of 19 cents on the envelope!
There are supposed to be 8 vegetable designs but there are only seven. They have been cut apart but appear to be unused. Includes 7 vegetable motifs, border or edging for tea towels, pot holder pattern and instructions. Envelope has some wear but intact. Shipping included in US.

A wonderful old sewing basket in good condition considering the age. It is approximately 9 1/2" deep and across, not including the handle. The handle is wooden and covered in the same woven design as the basket. The covering is loose on one end (needs some glue). The inside is covered in a taffeta-like red fabric; the lid is tufted and has little pearls sewn at the corners of each tufted square. Standing only 2" high, this little teapot pin cushion has been around a while! "Mother" is lettered on the front, surrounded by blue scroll work. Bottom has a gold paper label (part of it is missing) reading, in part, Papel, California and Made in Japan. No chips or crazing to glaze. So cute! Shipping included in continental US.

I believe this is made from what we always called "broadcloth"...it is a little heavier and coarser than just plain cotton. It is over 23" in length and in very good condition with no tears or stains. It is a deep, golden yellow with pictures of veggies on the front panel. This panel is sewn on top of the apron and makes it double thickness. This apron was made to USE!! Shipping included to continental USA.
