Just right for the aspiring young cook! Make cooking fun by teaching from this book...children will love trying out all the simple recipes (I found several to try myself!) There is a Beverage chapter, Breads and Sandwiches (even biscuits), Candy and Cookies, Desserts, Main Dishes and Salads and Vegetables. At the end of each chapter there is a page entitled "Ideas For" which gives a beginning cook some great ideas on how to expand on the preceding chapter. One even shows how to set a proper table. Inside the back cover is a table for Weights and Measures and Sizes of Cans. 79 pages in all. The book does show signs of use but more so on the cover than inside. No torn pages although some budding cook has written inside the front cover and also on the cover. Shipping included in continental US.
