Goebel Porcelain Egg on Stand, 1st in Series, W.Germany

This is the very first annual egg in the Goebel collector series which began in 1978! It is in excellent condition, nice high gloss glaze with baby chick (which is finished in a matte glaze) and 1978 in relief. Hand painted, displayed on a gold-toned tripod round base which has little "feet". The bottom of the egg has the numbers 62-700-07, the Goebel name, W. Germany and Bee mark printed in blue. Hard to find this one now! Stands just over 3"H. Like new but no box. Please send zip with inquiry and I will figure shipping.
