VINTAGE CLAY CRAFT STUDIO POTTERY

Here is an unusual piece of studio pottery.It is signed on the bottom with "N" and a "c" thru it.I found the marking in a book of marks under Clay Craft Studio Pottery.It was formed by 4 women in 1931.Carol Nickerson was one of them and they made some highly decorated pieces.These 4 women worked together until 1954.I am not positive but this looks like it could be one of her pieces as the marking is the same as in the book.This piece is in great condition for its age.There are no chips or cracks.I believe it could be a creamer as it has a spout or it could be just a decorative type vase.It is 6" tall.
