Character Stein Tankard - Old Japan Mark

This is without a doubt one of the most unusual items I've found. Standing approximately 5.25" without his hat and 7.5" with it (to the top of the bee), this character tankard is definitely one of a kind. Nicely marked Made in Japan, someone taped the nametag "Charlie Chaplin" on the bottom. I don't know...there's no moustache, but I left the name on the bottom. The face of this character is so expressive! Big eyebrows, an open (laughing? gaping?) mouth, furrowed brow, and curious eyes all add up to a face you just don't see every day. The hat comes off, and the bee never flies away. This jug would make a wonderful addition to any tankard collection or a hilarious gift for dad!
