The McKee Glass Company produced the "Bottoms Up" series following the demise of prohibition in the 1930s. This set of barware was fun and a bit risque. This beautiful Cape Cod #160/82 Cordial Bottle and Stopper is one of the rarest items we have ever owned in this pattern. The bottle was made from 1947 -1948 (one year). The short production span and the fact that only a few were made make this beautiful piece almost impossible to obtain. Cape Cod was produced by The Imperial Glass Company. The McKee Glass Company is responsible for the production of this fabulous "Jolly Golfer" Decanter Set. This set has been found in Pink Satin, Green Satin, Vaseline Satin, and Cobalt Satin. Other colors may also exist. To date we do not know of this set being made in transparent colors.
