Item Condition: Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. This stunning sculptured 14" oval bowl has a beautiful nude girl diving in swirled water. The girl, the sea foliage, the bubbles and the handles are crystal while the remainder of the bowl is crystal satin. This treatment was called Sculptured Brilliante which was described as " The Brilliance of fine crystal glass designs on an etched background" in an early Phoenix Art Glass Catalog.

Description: Our stunning "Diving Girl" is shown in the book "PHOENIX & CONSOLIDATED ART GLASS 1926-1980" by Jack D. Wilson. The bowl is also shown in original Phoenix Catalogs (also shown in this book) from the 1930s and 40s. This bowl was part of the Phoenix Sculptured Line made from the mid 1930s through the late 1950s.
