Mckee Green Satin Jolly Golfer Decanter Set

The McKee Glass Company is responsible for the production of this fabulous "Jolly Golfer" Decanter Set. This set has been found in Pink Satin, Green Satin, Vaseline Satin, and Cobalt Satin. Other colors may also exist. To date we do not know of this set being made in transparent colors. The advertisement for the Jolly Golfer is shown in "The Complete Book Of Mckee Glass" by Sandra McPhee Stout, on page 109. According to the ad it was designed by Tony Sarg. This beautiful decanter set is extremely rare. It is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION without chips or cracks. All the pieces are free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. This set was made so that the tumblers can be displayed with the Golfer hats on. When taken off and turned upside down they serve as a coaster (see photo).
