It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. All this interesting piece of history needs is 4 screws to fasten it to your wall! This jade-ite towel bar would fall into the Depression Glass category. It is from the 1930s. The hardware that we have with the towel bar is NEW. The die was cast from an original towel bar holder. Therefore, it is identical in design to the old ones. The only difference it that this hardware is made from stainless steel and does not rust or become pitted like the early chrome plated hardware. It is easy to clean and it is solid. It will not ever peel like the old chrome plated hardware.
