The Fenton Art Glass Company produced a limited amount of opalescent glass before 1939. Our lovely "Buttons and Braids" pitcher is one of the items made. Fenton made three different water sets circa 1910, Buttons and Braids, Drapery, and Coin Spot. These water sets were listed in blue, green, and crystal (what we know as French Opalescent) opalescent. Our lovely blue opalescent Buttons and Braids Jug is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION without chips or cracks. This awesome jug does have shear marks and a large bubble in the glass. Fenton in 1910 did not have the quality control they have with their opalescent glass today. This is common, and not considered damage but you need to be aware this is the way these pitchers were made. We have provided you a close-up picture. The color and the pattern on this piece is awesome. The pitcher has opalescent swirls that run through the piece. It is just beautiful. We also have tumblers. They are for sale in another listing. This pitcher is a wonderful piece that not many collectors are lucky enough to own. Thanks for checking out our listings. If you have any questions about this item we would appreciate you contacting us with them before making your purchase.
