Hall China Trailing Astor Stock Green Boston Teapot

We are pleased to offer for sale an early Boston teapot with the Trailing Astor Gold Decoration. The Hall China Company made this striking piece. The design on these teapots seldom survived . These lovely teapots were meant to be used and the gold design is usually rubbed away. Amazingly enough, this lovely piece is in PERFECT CONDITION without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold imperfections. The glazing is great and the gold is lovely. There is slight wear on the gold on the top of the handle where it was held, but as Trailing Astor goes--- this is one the best we have owned.
