Lefton Japan Mouse with Cheese Cookie Jar

We seldom run any piece on the internet that we do not know the age of, but this darling mouse cookie jar has such personality we made an exception in her case. Lefton still produces some pieces but I would imagine that the paper Japan label would indicate that this cookie jar has some age to it. Lefton was founded in 1941. The label is like the ones found on 50s and 60s, Lefton lady head vases. Our mouse with cheese is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION (like new) without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. The hand painting is great, but there is a an extra whisker on her nose.
