Hazel Atlas RARE Moderntone Shirley Temple Dinner Plate

We specialize in rare and hard to find Depression Era items. Believe me, this Shirley Temple decal, Moderntone pattern dinner plate is among some of the rarest items in the Depression Glass line. We know of only one other plate that has been found graced with this decal and it was not in the best of shape. The Hazel Altas Company produced a very small number of these decaled plates. Hazel Atlas must have considered adding them to the other Shirley Temple items they produced, but for some reason they discarded the idea. This beautiful scarce plate is in PERFECT CONDITION without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. The color is fabulous. THE SHIRLEY DECAL IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS BUT DOES HAVE SOME SLIGHT DISCOLORATION FROM AGE WHICH IS TRUE OF ALMOST EVERY (OLD, ORIGINAL) PIECE WITH THIS TYPE DECAL. The decal is detailed and obviously old--- the newer decals are composed of tiny circles and do not even look like Shirley Temple. It is easy to tell the new decals from the old when you see them.
