Fostoria American Round Footed Cake Plate /Icing Well

This pretty cake stand was produced by the The Fostoria Glass Company. This American pattern cake stand has an icing well that allows the extra icing to run into the bottom. These cake plates can be found with and without the icing well. This cake plate is one piece. The later cake plates without the well were made in two pieces and glued together. Sometimes the two piece cake plates come apart, so you may want to make sure that your cake plate is from the one piece mold. Our fancy cake plate is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. This pretty cake plate has great clarity and the color is nice and clear (none of the yellowing you sometimes find on these cake stands).
