Vintage Fenton Provincial Blue Opal Happiness Bird

The Fenton Art Glass Company produced this pretty Provincial Blue Opalescent #5197 Happiness Bird Figure. We have been lucky enough to purchase a collection of these figures from an older gentleman who used to visit the factory frequently in the 1970s and 1980s. He bought all kinds of animals during that time period. This hard to find bird was made from 1987 to 1989. I think it was sold through the Fenton Gift Shop. Our pretty blue opalescent Happiness Bird is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold imperfections. The color is beautiful which you can see from our photo. We have no idea how many of these figures were made in this color, but we do know this color is seldom seen.
