Wow! This pretty Spiral Optic Hobnail CV186-5 1/2" crimped basket was produced for QVC in 1997. It was made for a very brief period and because of that is very hard to find today. The Fenton Art Glass Company produced this Spiral Optic Hobnail and only made a handful of items in this pattern. None of these were sold for very long. People wanting to add these to a Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail or Spiral Optic collection are having a hard time finding them. This stunning basket is in UNDAMAGED CONDITION without chips or cracks. It is free of disfiguring mold or production imperfections. The opalescence on this piece is outstanding. The handle has been applied flawlessly.
