Mckee Rare Custard Glass Depression Glass Rolling Pin

Company Maker: The Mckee Glass Company Piece: Mckee Custard Rolling Pin Circa: 1930s Item Condition: We are very pleased to offer for sale a hard to find McKee Custard Glass Rolling Pin. This rolling pin is shown in all the McKee colors in Gene Florence's kitchen item book. None of the rolling pins are marked but this one is guaranteed to be original McKee from the 1930s. It has been in my collection for the last 25 years. It is the one pictured in "Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years". This striking rolling pin is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The aluminum lid is in good shape too, but is slightly worn and dented from age and use. The lid has holes in it. It was meant to be filled with flour and then sprinkled out as needed. The rolling pin has a ground finish under the lid. This is the way they were finished. This is a lovely rolling pin is custard --- not white milk glass.
