Pink satin depression Mayfair bowl

Here is a very nice pink satin Mayfair bowl that measures 9 7/8"X 11 6/8" X 3". Hocking made some bowls with this acid etched satin finish and then applied a hand painted detail to the underside of the rim. Most of examples today do not have much of that paint left on them. This bowl has the most on it of any I have ever seen. There are no chips or cracks just the normal utensil wear you might expect to find in a piece of its age. Truely lovely to look at, and I love to touch satin wear it feels so soft. Mayfair was produced 1931-37 so the satin ware was in there somewhere.
