Downturned fiddle handle with square shoulders, c1815 -- feathered script mono E T on front; 5-1/4" long. Eagle is typical of the period (see Krause birds, for example) -- fierce, protective -- probably related the recent War of 1812. Both spoon and bird are in near-mint condition.

18thC-style pointed-end handles, drop on bowl back, short reverse rib, brightcut bellflowers extend half-way down handle, feathered script mono C L L in cartouche on front. Length is 6-3/4". Condition is mint -- probably never used.

Pointed-end handle, drop on bowl back, reverse tipt, brightcutting and roulette work extending down handle, script mono Perry in cartouche on front; 9-1/8" in length. Condition is excellent.

Pointed-end handle, incised pointed arch drop on back of bowl; feathered script mono W C M on front, later mono M.F.H. on reverse. Length is 9-3/8". Condition is excellent, extended bowl tip unworn.

Pointed-end handle, brightcut bellflowers extending half-way down handle, incised pointed arch drop on bowl back, feathered script mono J C B in cartouche on front, later script 1793-1895 on reverse -- probably the longevity of JCB, a grand total of 102 years. Length of spoon is 8-3/4. Weight is nearly 2 T oz. Condition is near-mint throughout -- extended bowl tip unworn.

Pointed-end handles, c1790 -- drop on bowl backs, feathered script mono GAC on front; 7-1/8" in length. Condition of all 6 is excellent.

Long and deep front rib, long rattail extends 4/5 of the way down bowl back; block mono S * L over K V over Coin on reverse; 4-1/2" long. Condition is excellent. The word Coin (see pic) looks original; its meaning may allude to the silver content of the spoon.

Pointed-end handle with unusually long narrow bowl, elongated roulette drop on bowl back (see pic), feathered script mono L R on front; 5-3/4" long. Condition is near-mint -- extended tip unworn. You can find mark by Googling "American Silversmiths," then scrolling down to listings.

Short rib on handle front, crisp 12-lobe oyster shell drop on bowl back, block mono S * W on reverse; 4-1/4" long. Touch of tipwear, otherwise condition is excellent.
