Oval-end handle with descending bellflowers, feathered script mono D in brightcut and roulette cartouche, long drop on bowl back. Condition is near-mint. Mark is S (pellet) W (see pic).
Jones worked in Boston, and made these pieces around 1810 -- they have short squared shoulders, an interesting cut-cornered drop on the bowl back (see pic), a feathered script mono E B on the front, and are 7-1/8" long. Condition is excellent, heavy gauge silver. Only one marked -- ergo, they must remain as a pair.
Pointed-end handle, large pointed drop on bowl back, block mono S + C on front of handle; 5-1/2" long. Condition is excellent, bowl tip unworn. Mark GW (see pic) is attributed to Walker.
Unknown floral-and-shell pattern, similar to Gorham Queen -- shaped blade, hollow handle (mercifully wholly intact -- no splits, no dings -- marvellous) -- feathered script mono SCD on blade, later script engraving on handle: Helen April 1894. Length is 7-1/4". Condition is excellent.
Interesting oval-end handle tapering to a strong unworn bowl; pointed drop on bowl back, tipt on back of handle end; lightly engraved block mono S over R G on front; 8-5/8" long, excellent condition.
Oval-end handles, drop, reverse tipt, feathered script mono K on front; 5-3/4" long, fine condition. Silver by Wm. Gethen is rather hard to find; William is not to be confused with the more prolific John Ward Gethen.
