Deep front rib, c1765 - possibly unique double-tongue drop (see pic); shaded block mono G over I * S on reverse; 8-1/8" in length. Very slight tipwear, otherwise condition is excellent.
Hinckley worked in Barnstable. This piece has a pointed-end handle with a 9-lobe shell drop and with brightcutting half way down the handle. Mono is block A * B in a cartouche on the front. Length is 5-3/8". Condition is fine.
Rare swaging of a flame rising out of a rose growing in a basket (see pic); oval-end handle, short reverse rib, feathered script mono M P on front; 5-1/4" long. Condition is near-mint, bowls unworn, and etcetera.
Downturned fiddle handles, c1835 - pointed shoulders, drop on bowl back, feathered script C A L on front; 7-1/4" in length. Excellent condition on both.
Narrow downturned handles, c1835 -- pointed shoulders, drop on bowl back, never engraved; 5-3/4" long. Stress crack at handle join on one, others are fine.
Classic coffin-end, c1800, straight tapering line from handle end to bowl - incised pointed arch drop, reverse rib, block mono H R on front; 5-3/8" long. Excellent condition throughout.
Brightcut and roulette work length of handle, shaded feathered script mono R G in cartouche; 5-3/4" long. Condition of spoon is excellent, bird is very good.
