Downturned fiddle handle, pointed shoulders, reverse tipt, large feathered script mono R C M on front; 9" in length. Very slight tipwear, otherwise fine.
Early downturned fiddle handle, no shoulders, tiny roulette crescent drop, brightcut sunburst (or sunflower) with roulette half circles all around edge of fiddle; very crude mono C F on front; 5-5/8" long. Very good condition all over. (See photo.)
Mint condition fiddle-handled tablespoon with flared shoulders, a large drop on the bowl back; it has a reverse tip, and the mono in feathered script is A.B. Length is 8-5/8", weight is 2 T oz. Condition is terrific, extended bowl tip unworn. As per John McGrew, this spoon was made by one of the Forbes boys in NYC (see pseudo marks in pic).
Retailed by Bailey & Kitchen, Philadelphia -- forward-tipt fiddle handle with unique (?) double outline at end, not unlike the handle end of the fiddlethread pattern; flared shoulders, large heavy drops; old English F under crest of spread-wing eagle on reverse; 7-3/8" long. Condition is mint, extended bowl tips unworn.
Made by James Munroe, c1835 -- downturned fiddle handles, flared shoulders, script mono B M on front; 5-1/2" long. Bowls have a few shallow teething marks and one mark is badly struck - otherwise, condition is fine.
Made by HA & EG Kelley, c1835 -- downturned fiddle handles, flared shoulders, feathered script mono J C F C on front; 6" in length, all in near-mint condition. Case is covered in a white leatherette (some discoloration).
