16" tall, 13" across base, 74 Troy oz. We understand that this piece was designed at the Tiffany studio in the 1960s and that it was fabricated in Italy. What better home base for a campanile! As shown, the body consists of 8 S-scroll vertical straps on 8 ball feet. Two horizontal straps are connected to the vertical strip with silver rivets. This is a copy of the original by John Dixwell of Boston, who died in 1725 at age 45. Original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (see pix of inscriptions on bottom of cup). This piece was made in the 1940s. It is 3-1/4" high x 2-7/8" diameter at flared rim. Weight is a solid 6 T oz. It has an S-scroll reeded strap handle and a reeded band at the base. It is engraved Alana June in script on the front. Condition is excellent throughout.

Dodge was perhaps the greatest silversmith of the arts-&-crafts movement in the U.S. He opened his shop in Asheville, NC, in 1924 -- thus, this trophy is among his earliest works, for it was awarded in 1924. It is a circular plate, 12" in diameter, with a rim 1-7/8" in width. It weighs 17.5 T oz. Hamilton & Co. worked in Calcutta - These casters have a baluster body on a round pedestal foot, pierced lid with bud finials; repousse bands of grapes, leaves and tendrils at shoulder, at bottom of body and at base (see pic); gilt interiors; 4-1/4" high, 2" dia., 7 T. oz; excellent throughout.

Pair $2250 

Rectangular form on 4 cast feet, applied band of shells, grapes and foliage at rim (see pic), script mono C R P on side. The size is 4-1/8" x 2-5/8" and the weight is a substantial 10 Troy oz. The marks (see pic) are the same as those in Fig. 242, p. 245 in Chinese Export Silver by Forbes, et al. The attribution is spelled out in Appendix III, p. 254 of the same volume. Condition os both dishes is excellent.
