Both made by R&W Wilson, Phila -- Inscribed in cartouche: Presented to/Linda Venable/as a reward of merit/by the trustees of the/Public School/1861. Similar sentiments of 2nd mug. Both with floral repousse bodies; one 4" high, 2nd 3-1/2" high. Both in excellent condition.

Made by Ball, Tompkins & Black, NYC, c1845 -- 12 forks, each 7" long, and 11 knives with silver blades, 8-1/4" long. Mono on all 23 pieces is M D (shown). Only the knives are marked with the makers' names. Some of the hollow handles have light dings, but, by and large, overall condition is excellent.
