This is a copy of the original by John Dixwell of Boston, who died in 1725 at age 45. Original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (see pix of inscriptions on bottom of cup). This piece was made in the 1940s. It is 3-1/4" high x 2-7/8" diameter at flared rim. Weight is a solid 6 T oz. It has an S-scroll reeded strap handle and a reeded band at the base. It is engraved Alana June in script on the front. Condition is excellent throughout.

Hand-hammered teardrop bowl. End of handle pierced in floral motif. Shaded block mono E.C.C. on front; 7-5/8" in length. Excellent condition throughout.

Hamilton & Co. worked in Calcutta - These casters have a baluster body on a round pedestal foot, pierced lid with bud finials; repousse bands of grapes, leaves and tendrils at shoulder, at bottom of body and at base (see pic); gilt interiors; 4-1/4" high, 2" dia., 7 T. oz; excellent throughout.

Enameled scene of Dutch windmills at handle end. Length is 4-1/4", widest width 1-3/4". Condition is excellent. Marked STERLING with lion, anchor, G, and the "model number" 848. Estimated production date is 1880.

All in mint condition -- marked with Gorham's lion, anchor and G; also marked Sterling; and "Pat./Mar. 20/1894." Length of spoons is 5-3/4". Weight is 15 T oz.

Bamboo and flower pattern with Chinese ideograms, different on each fork, engraved in cartouche on front. Length is 7" and condition is excellent. NOTE: Other Chinese, Colonial India and other non-American silver available; send email for copy of 2-page list.

Front-rib tablespoon with slashed drop, feathered script mono D H L on reverse; 7-3/4" long, excellent condition. Given the script mono, we have dated this piece at 1790, rather than an earlier period when Hanoverians were in style. It is probable that Sunshing was commissioned to make a complete set of front-rib spoons with the engraving in the style of the '90s.
