Coin silver dessert spoon with downturned fiddle handle, flared shoulders, feathered script mono F C P C on front; 7-1/8" long. Condition is excellent, extended bowl tip unworn.

Made by R & W Wilson and shipped west. Forward-tipt fiddle handles with high pointed shoulders; script engraving on front: Ray Co. A. S.; 5-1/4" long. Condition is excellent. A search discloses only one Ray County in the U.S. of A., and that honor belongs to Missouri. Ray Co. is in the western part of the state, not far from Kansas City.

Classic coffin-end handle, molded drop, script JC on front; 9-3/8" long, excellent weight. Mint condition, extended bowl tips unworn.

Coffin-fiddle handle, c1810 - large molded pointed-arch drop; dual mono, both in feathered script on front: G B C and, probably later, F C C C; 9-5/8" in length. Very slight tipwear, otherwise excellent.

Classic coffin-end handles with shaded block mono DM on front -- incised pointed-arch drop on bowl backs; 9-5/8" in length. Condition of both is excellent.

Oval-end handle, drop, feathered script A on front; 5-3/8" long. Neat little spoon and in fine condition.

Marked S. H. & G., location unknown, c1860 - flared shoulders, script mono FCME on front; 7-1/4" long; 2-1/2" oval bowl. Condition is excellent.

Set of 6 teaspoons, c1870 - pinched-waist fiddle handle, pointed shoulders, script mono L.M.S. on front; 6" long, excellent condition.

On the basis of style (wide stubby fiddle handle and unusual high angular shoulders), we've attributed this piece to B.B. Hastings of Cleveland. The ladle is 6-1/8" long and the mono is I.A.A. in feathered script. Aside from an incompletely struck mark, condition is excellent.

Marked S.C. SPAULDING; also marked JANESVILL (no E) WIS, and also COIN. Spaulding was the retailer of this piece. It's also struck with 3 pseudos, the marks of the maker, Hall, Hewson in Albany.
