Downturned fiddle handle with square shoulders, c1815 -- feathered script mono E T on front; 5-1/4" long. Eagle is typical of the period (see Krause birds, for example) -- fierce, protective -- probably related the recent War of 1812. Both spoon and bird are in near-mint condition.
