Set of 6 $100

Oval-end handles, c1790 -- drop on bowl backs, short reverse rib, 5-5/8" long. This is a mixed lot. The best is the engraving -- feathered script mono A P within a wreath cartouche topped by a ribbon. Two of the bowls have cracks and one has an old bowl repair. The mark is WA, the best of which is shown; most of the others are poorly struck. We believe WA is the mark of William Andras of NYC. Price includes U.S. delivery.

$150

Made about 1790 -- oval-end handle, reverse rib, feathered script mono JLS (? - see pix); 5-1/4" long. Tipwear, salt roughness end of bowl, bird a tad worn (see pix for all). Mark excellent. This is not a "museum piece," as many are described, but an honest 200+-year-old spoon honestly used.
