Josephine was Mary Todd Lincoln's silver pattern. This piece was retailed by Bigelow Bros. & Kennard, Boston. It is 7-1/2" in length. Note the crisp foliate decoration on the back of the bowl (see pic). Never engraved; condition is near-mint.
Norwich, CT, dessert spoon, 7" long, c1810, with incised pointed arch drop - both sides of handle end scooped out to form an exaggerated coffin end. Mono has been removed, otherwise condition is fine.
Set of 3 spoons in unidentified lap-over pattern (see pic), gold-washed bowls, feathered script mono E D T C on front; 5-7/8" long. All in excellent condition.
Downturned fiddle handle, pointed shoulders, reverse tipt, large feathered script mono R C M on front; 9" in length. Very slight tipwear, otherwise fine.
Set of 6 spoons with serrated bowl rims, engraved and roulette work entire length of handles, feathered script mono J M L in cartouche on front; 5-3/4" long. Excellent condition throughout.
Galloping Paul Revere on handle - Bunker Hill monument and 1775 in bowl (see pix). Script mono AHP on reverse, plus engraved date Oct. 20 - 1901. 5-1/2" long, excellent condition.
Magnificent reproduction of 18thC form -- forward-tipt handle, fully marked (see pic) and a glorious bark in full sail (see pic). Length is 4-7/8", condition is minty.
Enameled scene of Dutch windmills at handle end. Length is 4-1/4", widest width 1-3/4". Condition is excellent. Marked STERLING with lion, anchor, G, and the "model number" 848. Estimated production date is 1880.
