Coin silver mug by John B. Jones, Boston, c1825

Baluster form on circular foot, heavy bands of fruit and flwoers applied at rim and base; S-scroll strap handle topped with heavy applied thumbpiece (see pic). Presentation engraving in feathered script on front of mug: LG / to/ JGT; 4-1/2" high. Excellent condition.
