1940's era Japanese Plastic/Melmac five laquer plates - Lacquer is a coating material that brings a very hard and durable finish plus certain flexibility, its very difficult to destroyt;
just like plastic. Vivid colors of dark rust/brown, gold, orange, and black. Backs are black. New - have been in attic since the 1940's in the original box/packing. Box is signed, not plates.

Noritake Japan Lustreware, circa 1940's cup and saucer. Good condition; yellowing in middle of dish as seen in pic. Hand painted. Bottom reads Japan T on saucer; on cup reads Japan and a symbol. Very fine, delicate porcelain - can see thru when holding up to light.
Pair of porcelain taper candle holders with painted holiday design. Bottom reads: AMC. N.Y. NY Japan. Measures 5" round with gold painted rim. Very good condition.
