This Civil War Replica Lantern was made from our wood shop. * Materials used: Solid oak wood, dried, planed, sanded, and stained * Plexi-glass - instead of glass - much lighter - more durable. * No mirror - original lantern had a mirror on one side that was removed and used for shaving. * All pieces of plexi-glass can be removed from top - remove pegs and slip off - easily cleaned. * Candle can also be removed for replacing (only applies to real candles). * Candle/no mirror is the only non-replicable elements not used. * Solid Copper handle (stripped from old wiring from our house) * Brass metal used for controlling flame from candle * * Measures: 16" from top of copper handle to bottom; 10 3/4" not including handle; 5 1/4" square * Candle - not included - I recommend a battery operated candle for safety reasons.
