Still in business today after almost 75 years of marketing costume jewelry, this hat brooch is a testament to the reason Ciner has outlived the rest. We have seen their beaded and pearl versions of this hat but the off-white stone that forms the peak of the hat is truly unique and the swarovski rhinestone trim is very rare. Five red marquise rhinestones surround a large ruby red prong set chaton and sparkling clear marquise cut stones are set in various angles making this a unique, dimensional piece. It measures 1 7/8", the perfect size for a sweater on a cool Spring night. The quality of the Swarovski crystals make you think Sherman but it is unsigned. This lovely rose gold washed floral brooch was made in the 30's by Harry Iskin. He originally operated under "Harry Iskin Company" in the late 20's before changing the name to Iskin Manufacturing Company some time in the 30's. A single, large pink chaton provides a delicate contrast to the elegant leaves of this large 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" brooch. The 1/20 10K goldwash is in excellent condition as is the pin and catch.

Studded with faux marcasites and enamelled in pink, this elegant bird brooch is almost perfect other than a very small nick to the enamel above the bottom wing and the very tip of one tail feather. It is what is showing up as white in our picture so it actually appears part of the coloration when the pin is worn. The metal has been "punched" to give the piece a look of marcasites. This little guy's eyes sparkle back at you exactly like the real thing. Honey colored chatons are the eyes and his wings and face are encrusted with gorgeous, clear rhinestones and the goltone is like new. Panetta, after leaving Italy, began working for Trifari. Eventually he left and founded Panetta in 1945. This 1 5/8" x 1" is not that old but definitely from the 60's and looking like it never was taken out of the box.
