Each of the stones are about 7/8" and nearly flawless but the piece de resistance is the 5/8" emerald cut aquamarine colored unfoiled stone at the base of the three which looks like the day it was purchased even under a loupe. Emerald green paves, baguettes and marquise rhinestones are glued into an elegant goldtone setting to create this large 3" x 1 1/2" Pell rhinestone brooch. The stones are providing wonderful sparkle but we couldn't quite capture the gorgeous color in our photos. Most marquise rhinestones are in excellent shape with only a few having very minor flea bites. All in all, the stones are as good as one could expect with a very gently worn vintage piece. Pell began producing costume je ...click for details

Marcel Boucher has taken nine square, faceted, unfoiled crystals and surrounded them with glittering clear baguettes to create this atomic style brooch. This design was advertised as an "Elipse Pin" in 1954 and retailed for $15.00. It measures just under 2" making it the perfect size for a lapel. The rhodium plating is like-new and all rhinestones are original and in excellent condition. There is some minor yellowing to some of the baguettes but the overall effect is sensationa ...click for details

This vintage Book Piece Coro fur clip was designed by Gene Verrecchio and patented in 1941 making this piece almost 65 years old but it's not ready for retirement yet! There appears to be only negligible wear to the enamel and all paves are still brilliant; none dead or dying. One small pave between the faux moonstones appears to be a replacement as it is slightly larger than the rest and one has been reset slightly askew. The back of the brooch is tarnish-free and although the Coro name ...click for details

This pot metal brooch with metallic enamel and rhinestones is reminiscent of the patriotic Marcel Boucher MB walking sailors which have faux pearl heads and caps as well. As Boucher did not market any signed pieces in pot metal, it is doubtful any brooches without rhodium plating can be presumed to be by Boucher. The brooch offered here has a gorgeous metallic enamel, straight pin and glittering paves and was a quality piece in its day. The only flaws today are the heads that have some loss t ...click for details

The centerpiece of this faux pearl necklace is done in a Victorian style molded to give the appearance of marcasites, however, it is just the actual metal but is high quality nonetheless. Almost all but two of the plastic faux pearls have their off-white nacre intact. The necklace measures approximately 16 1/2 inches and is a contemporary reproduction of a classic style.
