Marcel Boucher pieces are consistently elegant and this stunning brooch is no exception. Comprised of alternating rows of paves and baguettes, at 1 3/4", it is an ideal piece to compliment your dinner dress or to use as a scarf pin. It was produced in 1955, is signed ©Boucher 6333 and is highlighted in Marcia Brown's "Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry". One minor thing to point out is an extremely slight indentation on the outside swirl. It appears to be a manufacturing requirement after inspecting the area with a 10x loupe as the rhodium plating shows no evidence of any damage. The baguettes are beautifully clear and there is only some minor yellowing to the paves (not nearly as yellowed as shown in our photo with the white background). A good cleaning will likely help this out which we will attempt prior to shipping.
