Boucher Avon of Belleville Red Rhinestone Demi Parure

In 1945, Abe Mazer opened Avon of Belleville in Ontario, Canada. Marcel Boucher, through an agreement with Abe, was able to expand his sales into a country that appreciated his elegance of design. The designs were numbered to mirror the U.S. inventory system. This rhinestone demi parure has all the Boucher characteristics in design, quality of construction and selection of stones. The brooch is a great size at 2 3/8" x 1 3/4" and is stamped with the Script Avon and 7127. The earrings have a patent number 2733491. Two small stones are replacements in the earrings and only noticeable with a loupe but the brooch is all original.
