Pink Enamel Pot Metal Swallow Brooch

Studded with faux marcasites and enamelled in pink, this elegant bird brooch is almost perfect other than a very small nick to the enamel above the bottom wing and the very tip of one tail feather. It is what is showing up as white in our picture so it actually appears part of the coloration when the pin is worn. The metal has been "punched" to give the piece a look of marcasites. The back of the brooch is in excellent condition as is the pin and its mechanism. At 2 1/4" x 1 1/4", this unsigned, vintage enamel brooch will look lovely on that lightweight spring blouse.
