Rare Barclay Rhinestone Necklace Demi Parure

This is probably one of Barclay's most upscale creations made during the 50's. Beautifully detailed with long "black diamond" baguettes and large center chaton, as well as crystal clear teardrop rhinestones make you first think it is Weiss. The 2" x 2" rigid centerpiece is four tiered and the earrings three. The set is entirely made up of various shaped stones. All rhinestones are original and brilliant on the necklace (which will fit from 12" - 15") and with the plating in near mint condition, it's doubtful it was worn. The 1 1/4" earrings show slight wear on the plating and a couple of the clear tips have a touch of cloudiness. If you're seeking to collect the best of a designer, this is it...and if your only concern is to find something dramatic for a black gown, this set will knock-em dead.
