Trifari Brooch and Earrings 50's Starburst Design

Produced in the early 50's (based on the use of the Pat Pend marking and a "sister" set appearing in a 1949 Trifari ad), this great little Trifari demi parure is in excellent vintage condition. Featured in "Collecting Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia Carroll", it has a book value of $65 - $85 for the set. The condition of our set would value it at the high side of the range so we are offering it well below book. There is a loop on the back of the 1 1/4" brooch so it can also be worn as a pendant. All baguettes and chatons are like new. Our pictures, unfortunately, failed to show their brilliance and instead make them appear darkened which they are not; they are brilliant. The goldwash is in excellent condition on all pieces. The matching earrings are 7/8". This is an elegant, multi-purpose vintage set signed with the Crown Trifari mark. Our price was great before but now it's a steal!
