Green Rhinestone Demi Emerald Cut Gold Vermeil

Likely from the early 40's, this heavy (34 gram) emerald green rhinestone brooch and earring set is marked 1/20 12K on the brooch and 1/20 12K G.F. on the earrings. There are 3 sets of "arms" (one on top of each other). The bottom set has clear chatons at the end, some of which have darkened slightly. The middle set has all emerald cut green rhinestones which are in very good condition with a few having some minor foil loss. The inner arms alternate between the clear and green stones. The base of the fan consists of five round rhinestones. The brooch measures 2 7/8" x 1 7/8" and the earrings are 1 1/8" x 7/8" and are screw back. The earrings' green stones have completely lost their foil back but the color is lovely as-is. Again, some of the clear stones have some darkening. The gold plating is in very good condition with only some minor tarnishing. Even though this set sounds less than desireable, it is stunning on and shows beautifully in person. We have discounted this item 50% to reflect the condition.
