Sherman Siam Red Japanned Brooch & Earrings

Siam red Swarovski crystals were used by Gustave Sherman to produce this petite demi parure. The crystals are a combination of both solid and red AB chatons and marquise cuts and create a basket design. The earrings are the intended match having the identical shapes, colors and sizes of stones. The brooch measures 1 3/8" and the earrings are 7/8" by almost 3/4". All 3 pieces are signed; the earrings in script on the clips and the brooch in script on a rectangular plaque. Although the "Sherman" name is significantly worn away on the plaque, there is enough of the name remaining to confirm its authenticity. Japanned Sherman Siam red sets are getting harder and harder to locate as the Sherman collector base continues to expand. This set is in very good to excellent condition with only two stones having noteable scratches to the AB finish.
